REPORT OF NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINAR ON APASMARA.

“SMARA – 2018”

                   Shri Shivayogeeshwar Rural Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Inchal, Post Graduate Department of Kaya Chikitsa & Pancha Karma has Organised National Seminar on – SMARA – 2018 on 08-12-2018, for P.hD scholars, P.G. scholars, practitioners and Under Graduates.
In this Seminar 24 Ayurvedic Institutes, 597 delegates participated among them 475 Under Graduates, 93 Post Graduate scholars, 01 P.hD scholar, 28 teaching staff of various Ayurvedic Medical colleges across the nation have attended.

President of S.S.B.E Society His Holiness Shri Shri Shri Dr. Shivanand Bharati Mahaswamiji, Presided the function and Shri Mahantesh S Koujalagi, Hon’ble MLA, Bailhongal Constitution was the Chief Guest. Shri D B Mallur, Chairman, S.S.B.E Society, and Shri S M Rahutanavar, Ex-Chairman, S.S.B.E Society have attended the function.

In this seminar, 04 Scientific sessions including keynote addresses of eminent resource person in this seminar Dr. Muralidhar Sharma, Professor, emeritus SDM College of Ayurveda, Udupi. The speaker Dr. Narayan Prakash, Professor & HOD, Department of Kaya Chikitsa, Parassinikadavu Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur, Kerala, delivered Apasmara in clinical practice. Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Professor & HOD, Department of Manasa Roga, SDM College of Ayurveda & Hospital, delivered integrative counseling of Apasmara. Dr. Prashant A S, Professor & HOD, Department of Pancha Karma, Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Hubli, delivered Ayurvedic Management of Apasmara and followed by panel discussion.

40 PG scholars presented oral papers and 30 Under Graduate students participated in Poster presentation competition.
